There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to hooking up. Here are some of my responses...

1. Some men may not drink due to religious reasons, maybe they have an early morning and don't want to smell of booze or need to be sober (a pilot / personal trainer / lawyer attending a court case), they could be on medication which means they can't drink.

2. Peacocking works well when done right; sporting a smart pocket square in ones blazer / suit. Wearing cool cufflinks with ones shirt. A fitted three-piece suit seems to work wonders. Women have struck up conversations on fashion with me based on this which has led on to more interesting events :-)

3. Some people have to travel as part of their job and be placed in a town on their own so going to a bar on their own is the only option.

4. If men approach and make polite conversation with a lady / group of women it's not necessarily chasing. If anything it shows bravery and being social :-)

5. It's usually a "mutual-understanding'. Men may want to "get in womens pants" but some women may also want to "get into mens boxers" even faster!

Maybe we need to meet up in a bar Meghan :-)
